“Regenerative agriculture has always been a difficult concept to comprehend and is often inconsistently defined. Despite this complexity, it has gained widespread attention because of its holistic approach that focuses on potential solutions to crises in the food system – including climate change, soil degradation, inhumane handling of farm animals, and biodiversity loss.”

The Food Standards Agency (FSA) has raised concerns about the increasing number of Salmonella and Campylobacter infections.

The FSA said recent data has confirmed suspected threshold breaches for Salmonella and Campylobacter. Investigations to identify contributing causes are underway.

The European Commission has opened a call for evidence relating to food and feed safety legislation.

The move is in response to stakeholders and member states asking for reduced administrative burdens, improved legal clarity and increased efficiency of regulatory procedures, while still ensuring a high level of food safety in Europe.

The FDA determined that Blue Forest Farms’ products — Amanita Muscaria Microdose Capsules, Amanita Muscaria Magic Potion Tincture, and Amanita Muscaria Magic Chocolate — are adulterated because of the inclusion of Amanita muscaria, a substance that poses significant safety risks.
