What to know: The European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control (ECDC) has weighed in on a multi-country outbreak of Listeria monocytogenes with 25 cases. France has 21 patients while Belgium, Denmark, the Netherlands, and Norway all have one illness each. 

U.S. Secretary of Agriculture Brooke Rollins announced $850 million would fuel  USDA’s five-pronged plan to prevent the spread of New World screwworm from Mexico into the United States. 

Pennsylvania public health officials are warning the public not to drink raw milk from Sunshine Dairy because of contamination with Listeria monocytogenes bacteria.

A Listeria outbreak that sickened five people in Argentina has been traced to a type of cheese.
