Salmonella infections reached a decade high, with an increase from 8,872 cases in 2023 to 10,388 in 2024. Campylobacter cases also increased by 17.1 percent from 60,055 in 2023 to 70,352.
Kraft Heinz Foods Company is recalling fully cooked turkey bacon because sampling has shown it to be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes.
